GIS Maps

Orthomosaic maps can be created stitching together hundreds of images captured from a drone flying at low altitude. Our drones are programmed to fly a predetermined pattern over a specified area and capture images every two seconds. Each image file contains information identifying precise "real world" location for referencing on Google Earth maps.

NOTE: Touch enabled devices do not have access to the measuring tools. Use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browsers as Internet Explorer does not support measurement tools.
  • Measurement tool icons are located top left corner of map:
    • The Distance Icon icon provides you with the ability to measure distances between any two, or more, selected points.
    • The Area Icon icon allows you to draw shapes for auto-calculation of areas and volumes.
  • Use the + and - icons to zoom-in and out of map.
  • Right-clicking on the map will indicate the exact latitude and longitude at your cursor.
  • Hover over the layers icon in the upper-right corner and check the bottom box for (colored) elevations. The scale appears below the map.
